What is wall mural and sticker printing?
Wall murals and stickers are large format graphics printed onto self-adhesive vinyl and applied directly to a wall, window or glass partition. They cover everything from a full-wall photographic mural, to cut vinyl lettering with no background at all, to frosted privacy film on a meeting room, to promotional graphics in a shop window.
The appeal is coverage for cost. A printed mural covers an entire wall for a fraction of what any fabricated sign would cost over the same area, and it can carry photography, gradients, patterns and detail that no cut or built-up sign can reproduce. The trade-off is lifespan. Vinyl is a surface-applied finish measured in years rather than decades, which makes it ideal for leased premises and anything you expect to refresh, and the wrong choice for permanent identification signage.

Removable, permanent and the wall underneath
The single most important decision is adhesive type, and it is decided by your lease as much as by design. Removable vinyl uses a lower tack adhesive engineered to release cleanly when warmed with a heat gun. On sound, fully cured painted plasterboard it lifts off without taking paint, which is what you want in rented premises.
Permanent adhesive bonds far more strongly and is appropriate for glass, metal, laminate and anywhere the graphic is staying for the long term. On a painted wall it will very likely pull paint when removed, so we only specify it on painted surfaces when you have told us the graphic is permanent.
The wall itself matters more than people expect. Freshly painted walls need to cure fully, usually two to four weeks, before vinyl is applied, because adhesive bonds poorly to paint that is still off-gassing and can lift later. Heavily textured, rough or unsealed surfaces will not take a smooth mural at all, since the vinyl bridges the texture and eventually releases. Matt and chalk-effect paints are also difficult, as their surface is designed to resist adhesion. We check the wall before quoting and will tell you if it needs preparation.
Window and glass graphics
Glass is the most versatile surface and has its own set of materials. Frosted or etch-effect film gives privacy while passing light, and is the standard treatment for meeting rooms and consulting rooms. It can be cut with your logo or a pattern knocked out of it so the film does the branding as well as the privacy work.
Printed window graphics can be applied to either face of the glass. Interior application protects the vinyl from weather and vandalism but means the image is viewed through the glass. Exterior application gives a brighter, more direct result but is exposed. One-way vision film, perforated with fine holes, lets you print a full graphic on the outside while people inside still see out, which is why it is used on shop windows and vehicle rear screens.
There is a practical safety point too. Large areas of clear glass in commercial premises generally need manifestation, meaning visible markings at eye level so people do not walk into them. That requirement is a good opportunity to add branding rather than settling for plain frosted bands.
How long wall graphics last
Vinyl is a consumable in a way that metal and acrylic are not, and it is worth being clear about that before you buy. Interior wall murals kept out of direct sunlight typically look good for five to seven years, and often longer, since the main enemies are UV and physical wear rather than time.
Window graphics in direct Singapore sun age faster, generally three to five years depending on orientation and whether a UV laminate was specified. West facing glass takes the harshest exposure. Laminating adds cost but meaningfully extends life and adds scratch resistance, so for anything exterior or sun-facing we recommend it as standard.
Floor graphics are the shortest lived, since they are walked on. With an anti-slip laminate they hold up for one to two years in moderate traffic, considerably less in a busy entrance. If a graphic needs to last decades, vinyl is the wrong product and a fabricated sign is the right one.

What wall murals and stickers cost in Singapore
Wall graphics are priced mainly by area, with material, lamination and installation complexity on top. They are the most affordable way to cover a large surface, which is the main reason to choose them.

Insurance and warranty
Wall and window graphics are installed on your premises, often in occupied offices and live retail units, so we carry public liability insurance for all on-site work. Where an installation needs access equipment for a high wall or an atrium, that cover extends to it.
Fabrication is warranted for 12 months and installation for 6 months, written on your quote. It is worth being clear about what that means for vinyl specifically. The warranty covers our work, meaning application faults such as lifting edges, bubbling or misalignment. It does not cover ordinary UV fading over years, which is a normal property of the material rather than a defect, or failure caused by a wall that was not cured or prepared as we advised.

Will wall stickers damage my paint when removed?

How long does installation take?
Most single wall murals and window sets are installed in a single visit, often in a few hours. Turnaround from approved artwork is usually a few days to a week, considerably faster than fabricated signage since nothing has to be formed or welded. Larger multi-room projects are scheduled around your access and working hours.
What warranty and insurance do you provide?
Every sign we make carries 12 months warranty on fabrication and 6 months on installation, and those terms are stated in writing on your quote rather than left implied. We also carry public liability insurance for all on-site work, including installations needing scaffolding or a boom lift, and we are BCA-LEW licensed, so any mains connection is made by our own licensed electrical worker.
